ESSEX FINANCIAL SERVICES LTD TO JOIN JOSEPH R LAMB

We are delighted to announce that we have agreed to merge Essex Financial Services Ltd with Joseph R Lamb IFA with effect from 17th August 2009.

On 17th August 2009 Essex Financial Services Limited are joining forces with Joseph R Lamb Independent Financial Advisers Limited of Rayleigh, Essex and will continue to trade under the Joseph R Lamb name. Both Graham Steed and Samantha McKinley of Essex Financial Services Limited will be moving across as part of the merger.

Joseph R Lamb have been operating in the financial services industry for almost 40 years, building a team of highly qualified and experienced financial advisers. Similarly, Essex Financial Services Ltd have operated in the Brentwood and Shenfield area for many years and established an excellent local reputation. The decision to join forces with Joseph R Lamb Ltd will enable us to devote far more time to our clients and offer even higher levels of expertise and administration going forward.

Martin Lamb, Managing Director, identified his Company’s strong administrative and technical support as important factors in securing the arrangement. Joseph R Lamb are heavily committed to ensuring all advisers are fully qualified in the lead up to the implementation of the Retail Distribution Review in 2012 and Martin commented “Our investment in developing bespoke investment solutions for our clients coupled with our high standards of professional and technical expertise has also been crucial in Graham’s decision. We at Joseph Lamb have grown quickly over the last 5 years with such deals and although this is the largest so far we anticipate more such consolidation in the future.
